Hi Claudia,

Thanks for your feedback, I always appreciate reader insights.

Knowing that you provide feedback on a daily basis is great to hear because I wrote this post in response to some of the conversations I've had with some of our users. I continue to hear that "Their people are starved for feedback!" and are looking for tools to help support/drive more manager feedback.

Which, I guess, to answer your question, is the point of Rypple - to give people a place to provide feedback, coaching and recognition to teams who:

a) never received it in the first place
b) are looking for a more effective way of delivering it

Many times I hear:
- Not everyone knows the awesome things the people do in our company
- I coach and give feedback constantly but I document that on a spreadsheet which is static and I want something more collaborative
- when it comes to review time I have to hunt through all my emails to find the feedback that I provided throughout the year (and it takes too much time)

And to be able to provide a solution to those problems is what we've been focusing on. We're here to support the great behaviours of leaders so it is easier for them to lead (IMHO - similarly a treadmill is there to support the behaviours of people getting fit so it is easier for them to stay fit)

I apologize if Rypple came off as a planning tool, as it is 100% about the execution of feedback - Happy to walk through the service in a bit more depth to help clarify, please feel free to contact me anytime at charmaine (at) rypple.com.
