The sad thing is alot of people do not look at their bill and probably don't notice the extra charges. I agree they shouldn't be able to bill without your approval but also believe you need to watch your bills and if you are charged for something take care of it right away. If you let it go for a few months you are getting what you deserve. Paperless doesn't mean blindness...open up the bill on the computer and check it out. This is one reason I never use auto-payment. I may be paperless but when the bill comes in if it doesn't look like last months then I go in and start digging around.
