All 4 agreements are very much interrelated, however according to Ruiz, a major obstacle keeping us from being successful is our DOMESTICATION that has been our primary training since birth. Anything in conflict with our domestication we perceive as bad, wrong and even evil. We are fearful of others outside of the domesticated life style and such people are rejected as abnormal and to be avoided.

With such indoctrination can any of us really benefit and carry on with complete integrity and honesty the 4 agreements without being fearful of the consequences therefore trully negating us from trully being FREE.? It did not work for Jesus, for Galileo, for Dante, for Sir Thomas Moore, for Nostradamus or for anyone who has revolutionized our knowledge that the establishment is fearful of in depleting their power structure.
