Because of what "we" and I am speaking for all of us, have done to this planet, we had better get used to the fact that if we want to see these and a lot of other animals survive then we are going to have to intervene in nature and preserve them. That means lots of refuges and parks and lots of very heavy handed law enforcement. At least we have the option that we "can" save the tigers, there are many species, especially marine, that will not be able to be saved no matter what we do. Aldous Huxsleys "Brave New World" is pretty much here.

OK BP would you like to tell all the people why you were doing high risk deep water drilling in the first place? I thought not. You all will love this one, under the terms of the MMS Minerals Management Service leases for "deep" water drilling areas, the oil companies get to take massive amounts of oil out of these wells without paying ANY royalties to the US Government. At a certain point in the lease ( usually millions of barrels and several years down the road) when the lease says they must start paying royalties on a particular well, they simply cap it off and move on to the next wellhead thus NEVER EVER paying so much as one thin dime for the billions of dollars worth of oil they removed. That's right folks, go deep and the oil is free, go deeper and its free longer. There are plenty of shallow water and dry land leases sitting idle while these companies all concentrate on the "deep" and "ultra deep" water wells so they can have OUR oil for free. Go read some of the leases and you will see what I'm talking about, free oil to anyone willing to risk our environment.http://www.mms.gov/

What we need is good old fashioned middle of the town square public executions again. Let all the rest of the "potential" scumbags see in "real life" wether your eyeballs pop out of your skull when the slack in the rope runs out! Politicians and lawmakers got this all backwards, execution is not for the benefit of the convicted, it is for all the rest of us so we see without any doubt what the consequences of our actions will be. You watch someone die at the end of a rope once or twice ......now that's a deterrent.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Woman after house cat attack: \'I was mauled for the kill\' | KOMO News - Breaking News, Sports, Tra

I had a cat go ballistic on me once, sacrificed my hand to keep him off my face. Once he bit into my hand I closed my hand around his head, said "You have 3 seconds to pull those teeth out of my hand" and started squeezing and wasnt kidding ... about two seconds later as his cranial pressure was going through the roof he was more than willing to let go, then he found out the thruth that cat's dont necessarily always "land on their feet", especially when their flying through the air at 30 mph. Sounds kinda harsh but it never happened again and he ended up being a real good buddy for many years to follow. Before you complain about the 30 mph thing, his "only" other option at the time was a fast twist of my wrist and a snapped neck, he got lucky that day.

So, is this the same strain that was developed by the US Government and stolen by a US Government employee and then sent through the US Government mail to a bunch of US government politicians and employees a few years ago? You all remember that guy, you know, the one who conveniently committed suicide two weeks before he was to testify for congress! That little US Government stunt cost us all 3-4+ billion dollars worth of "upgrades" to the US postal service. But hey, watch out for those so called "terrorists" because their all out to get us!!! We never did get any legitimate answers to that one.
