NICE JOB! Go here: http://home.comcast.net/~whatcom7firefighters/Wha... and send the old mans camp an email. I have no knowledge of the race or the arguments but Jensen gets my vote! I sent them an email of the old mans Ford appearing in both places. We will see if they continue to deny it.

KOMO - Seattle, WA : Auburn motorcyclist killed in Blewett Pass crash | 911 | Auburn News

Besides, it doesn't matter what part of his lane he was in. Bikes deserve the same footprint as cars. If they are in their lane the deserve to be safe from impact. I can't count how many times people have felt it is ok to push their way into my lane when I'm on my bike. They will expect you to move to one side of the lane or the other to avoid them and its just not right. I commute everyday on a bike and put about 30,000 miles per year on bikes...its getting so unsafe on the roads it really is sad. People in cars feel invincible and drive like they are. Please start driving your car people. Driving is a VERB (something you do...an action word) ....it isnt something that just happens while you're eating, texting, or watching movies. Sorry for the soapbox

Motorcycles are not supposed to ride in the "center" for a couple reasons. First of all, it tends to be the most slippery part of the road because fluids leaking from vehicles builds up in the center of the lane (obviously dropping from the engine/transmission/rearend of, most likely, American vehicles.) Also, it is easy to be "hidden" behind the car in front of you if in the center of the lane. You are hidden from on coming traffic and more at risk of people pulling out in front of you as well as being hidden from the car in front of you (people check their side mirrors more than their rear view mirror. The motorcycle safety folks teach new riders to ride in the tire path of the drivers side tires when going down the open road. .

KOMO-- I'm not at all crazy about poorly written articles as it seems some on the internet are but this is crazy.... From your article: "Darcus Allen, who has been charged with first-degree aggravated murder, is scheduled to stand trial in March. Prosecutors are not seeking the death penalty against Allen." That is the only information we have regarding Darcus Allen. I had to do a Google search and ended up on a competitors site to learn who the heck Darcus Allen is! It would make sense that you provide information as to who the heck Darcus Allen is and how he fits into this story. End rant......

Again, you misunderstand....collectors vehicles are exempt (I have two)...as are others. Late model Porches are not. The only way for him to be legal is if he has an exemption from the state patrol: In cases where the body construction of the vehicle is such that compliance with this section is impossible, permission to deviate therefrom may be granted by the state patrol. I'm sure he has the exemption! :-) (BTW...we wouldn't give him one)

The Porche is a perfect example of the "I have money so your petty laws don't apply to me" attitude. He parks however he wishes (as in Gates Sr.'s case...running into another car), never thinking about what type of inconvenience he is causing other people. This fine gentleman doesn't simply stop there. WA state law requires both a front and rear license plate. That's yet another law he simply can't be bothered to abide by (I'm sure the no cell phone/texting rule and the whole use your blinkers rules dont get followed often either.) Keep smilin buddy....I wonder which of my keys would cause the best looking scratch?

That truck has alot of damage as well. Look at the gaps at the back of the fenders and the hood gap. The whole front end will need replaced.....and thats IF the frame on the front isn't bent up. Granted, the dude is obviously alot safer and there is alot less damage there is, GUARANTEED, more than $5000 worth of repairs there.

There isnt anyway it damage the tranny on the truck. That isnt tranny fluid. Now I have to get suited up to ride home with this thought in my head.

I worked as a deputy sheriff for 5 years and have since moved on to the tech industry (major Eastside software company)....the reason I left law enforcement? This is the culture! These are the men you are forced to work with. I simply didn't have the holier than thou attitude that many officers have in many departments and more importantly, I didn't want it. There are personal exceptions and there are departmental exceptions but I am here to say this type of attitude exists in too many law enforcement personel and agencies. Hope someone will do something to begin a change. Thanks for reading.

That just isn't true. Many people at MS are making less than $15/hour. They know that people will work for this low wage nowadays and if they don't they'll just ship the jobs to Hyderabad. Even contracting for MS, at times, I was forced to call India to get things done in our office. (and it's considered a Western Washington company)

Sounds like its time for then to give back the 10% pay cut they gave to their contractors last year. Last year there was an across the board 10% pay cut because profits were down....now profits are up....10% pay raise across the board right? I doubt it because it's the right thing to do.
