My two children attended private christian schools from K-3 to graduation. Their colleges were also church affilatied. My daughter is in Seminary working on a master's degree in Christian Counseling. Public schools have plenty of good Christian teachers, but they have their hands tied. Christian parents who can afford Christian schools have an obligation (to their children) to send them there. That could mean private Christian schools or home schooling. Understand that no Federal institution, be it the courts or congress, has any legitimate power to tell states how to run their schools. Control of education is one of the sovereignties that the Constitution left to the states. These young men have built memories that will last a lifetime and they will certainly be an inspiration for future Rowan Legion players for many years to come. There are probably very few people who believe as we do when it comes to the Bible because so few people ever bother to dig into the Bible and see what it actually says. That includes most denominational preachers. Much of what passes for church doctrine is really the "traditions of men" and not the word of God. I have been studying at a small Bible College in Concord for the past three years where the Bible itself is virtually the only textbook. It is amazing what you can learn when you actually read what the Bible says. The main thing to reaize is that the Bible interprets itself when you know how to put the pieces together. I have no intentions of becoming an active preacher at my age, but I do try to answer mis-statements like Mr. Andrews' when I can. I am far from an expert, but I have learned enough to know not to take anybody else's word for what the Bible says unless they can back it up with scripture. Thanks.
