West Ham Till I Die : 2018 England World Cup Bid a No Go!

Sepp Blatter is going nowhere. The old bastard will live to 140 & then be the first head-in-a-jar (like Richard Nixon in futurama). The world cup will be played on the moon before England. We're screwed. They won't even have to justify panorama; they can just be really condescending and tut knowingly about those Brummie sping-spongs on Wednesday. Well Ze Eengleesh zey ave zis 'ow you say? Ooligan mentality.

West Ham Till I Die : Is the Door Now Open for Di Canio?

Di Canio should be the natural choice for attacking coach; in my opinion, West Ham should have paid for his badges & got him in the day he qualified.... I don't think his lack of experience is a big enough negative for that role; he wouldn't even be 2nd string, as an attacking coach with at least an assistant manager &/or head coach in front of him. I wish we'd never got rid of Zola & Clarke and appointed Avram Grant in the first place. But we did, so sacking him now will condem us to the fizzy pop or overpriced utilities league or whatever it is this year. Why on earth would Martin O'neil want to come here right now? Or anyone of any note for that matter? sorting out the engine-room is the correct approach I think: if it were down to me, I'd promote Kevin Keen to assistant Manager & get in di canio & lomas & review the whole thing at the end of the season. (would also be a cheap option, which should appeal to Razzle & Fiesta)

West Ham Till I Die : Gudjohnsen Signs for Spurs

"I would be exasperated if we try to buy this man. It would make no sense. In his own head he is Pele, but in reality, he is closer to Jason Lee." It's been ages been ages since I've heard a reference to Pineapples, but he still makes me laugh!

West Ham Till I Die : Gudjohnsen Signs for Spurs

Gudjohnsen seems to have just the sort of attitude that we don't need around Upton Park right now. Personally I'm having difficulty in seeing how a move to Tottenham could be benefical for Eidur; I don't think he'll be able to come between Judas & the Stork in their line up; Enough respect to Mr. Gudjohnsen (I'll admit he maybe able to play football about a million times better than me), but if he is happy being a second string pairing with Robbie good luck to him. I am far more impressed with what I have heard about Benni McCarthy- apparently he was gutted that our deal with Porto fell through and has had half an eye on West Ham ever since. We are talking about two different sorts of player here- one that is happy to play when called upon, safe in the knowledge that he has the professional ability to do the job (and expects a wage that refelects this; £80k). The other being a footballer who still feels he has things to prove & achievemnets to make (like a world cup) . Obviously neither player is a long-term option for the club, but we need someone (or someones!) to come here ready to do the job for West Ham rather than be here because it's their job.

West Ham Till I Die : West Ham Sold to Sullivan

Given that three weeks ago we were meant to be selling everything from Scott Parker to the Hammerettes left over laundry, this isn't the worst situation we could be in..... as long as they don't start off by sacking what I would venture as the best supported management team since John Lyall. Mind you, Mr. Sullivan's judgement could be open to debate, he does believe that there is a Lancaster Bomber on the Moon.................

West Ham Till I Die : Sign the KEEP ZOLA Petition

The Daily mail are sticking their neck out and reporting Gold and Sullivan's bid as successful: The long-running takeover saga at West Ham United finally ended on Monday night when David Sullivan and David Gold won the battle to take control of the club in a £105million deal. After weeks of speculation, Sullivan and Gold have seen off the challenge of Malaysian businessman Tony Fernandes, financial analysis firm InterMarket Group and Italian Massimo Cellino to seal their return to the Barclays Premier League. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article... Given that the article contains statements, rather than speculation, either the mail are in a world of pain with CB's lawyers tomorrow, or we are going to be sponsored by the Sport next season. They can't be worse than Terry F***wit, surely???? Here's to staying up with Zola and Clarke at the helm. COYI
