West Ham Till I Die : Should We Sell Carlton Cole

We have to keep him, will easily get 20 plus goals next season and that could do wonders for his next season back in the PL. Last season was poor however i put that down to no service and poor management by grant who constantly chopped and changed the team.

West Ham Till I Die : Guest Post by Charles Myers: It's Up To Us To Set The Olympic Stadium On Fire

Excellent post. I am in favor of moving to the O.S, it has the ability to transform the club. Not only community wise but financially, etc, etc and can help us really challenge for the top. however the move has to be done right and not cutcorners.

West Ham Till I Die : Guest Post from Tony McNulty: Let Tottenham Be Tottenham in Tottenham

Good article. For me the structure of the olympic stadium legacy has been sub standard ever since we bid for the olympics. Everyone knows the bid was put in without the genuine belief of winning so the government and British oympic comitee cut corners and know it is now very messy. Under the icelandics we tried to get the O.S but they said that it wasnt supposed to be for football but for athletics , which was ridiculous, to suggest the O,S would have been sustainable on athletics was farcical. West ham should have been involved in the O.S from the start and it should have been, designed and built with football in mind and the use afterwards of being a mulit sport facility. (in the way man city took over the commonwealth stadium and converted it).

West Ham Till I Die : The Big Guns Cherry Pick to Maintain the PL Status Quo!

Spot On article. West ham will never have a billionnaire in charge to spend hundreds of millions and I wouldnt want to be that way It is cheap and fake success. The KEY for west ham both in the short and long term is to get our top prospects on long deals and build around a core group of young players. Then build around them.

I think the move to newcastle is unlikely, are newcastle going to sanction a move for him, on large wages, when he cant pass a medical? I doubt it but lets wait and see.

All fernandes did was say a bid was made- which the owners initially denied but later on admitted he did. There i no negotiating or anything just saying a bid was made. Nothing wrong with that.

Ha myth???????? Have you not seen bolton or Blackburn in the past 10 years? There have been 3 or 4 classy players who produce quality naturally however allardyce always has and always will do long ball football. We need organisation, "steel", etc which are all stuff without the ball. With the ball allardyce is a terrible coach.

It is embarrassing to hear some fans trying to defend allardyce who is a shocking manager and represents everything that is wrong with english football and everything west ham shoudlnt. I know the past 2 seasons have been tough but the lack of loyalty towards the club tradition, history and values is embarrassing. God can you imagine trevor brookign coming and seeing allradyce play long ball at upton park. DISGUSTING.

In order to move on we need to: -Stay out of the media and keep things indoors. -Gold, sullivan, brady signifcantly reduce media actitivies. -Invest in the team with quality championship players ( mcgugan, graeham, etc) - Dont sell youth, -Build squad and team around our youth products. -get the right man in to lead the team.

Zola kept us up............despite the disgracful behaviour of the owners and the horrendous financial issue which severely hindered him. What we need is a manager who is an outstanding coach, who will develop and imrpve the players.

If he does hypothetically takeover and then the owners start messing him around, the fans woudl fully back carr and would make their feelings known to the owners. Carr is a west ham legend, and every fan, if he gets he job, shoudl be fully behind him.

What is the point of "experience"????? zola had little but we stayed up----grant had lots but we went down..........in the football league look at rodgers, mcdermott, freedman, clarke, mackay, poyet, etc all young manager but have done outstandign jobs. Experience is just often used as an excuse. I would love a set up of tony carr as manager, kevin keen assistant and someone like ray wilkins who is an excellent coach.

West Ham Till I Die : Is Chris Hughton the Front Runner?

My ideal candidates woudl be rodgers/houghton/mackay/carr. Anyone of them would be good appointments and I would back them all to the hill. My favourite woudl be rodgers who really has done a magnifcent job at swansea,, also tony carr who with some quality signings (proven champinoship) could really bring back west ham to its roots.

With martin o'neil it is all down to the owners, if they want him then they will have to pay. It is in the air as to whether martin o'neil would come down to the championship however if you offered him good money, promotion bonus, promise of complete control of the team and some funds. That would guarantee promotion in the first season and worth the investment. Chris houghton is a strong character, not in public as he is measured and calm however on the touchline and on the training ground he is a man who commands respect. I would like houghton or mackay but my first choice would be brendan rodgers (if swansea dont get promoted), Regardless of who comes in the owners have to sort themselves out and think logically for once.
