People amaze me sometimes (and not in the good way), specifically on the Internet. It's so easy to throw out big words like "pedophile", "rapist", "bully", etc. without a second thought to whether it even makes sense or is applicable. They get off on stirring the cyber-pot. It's sad, really. Meanwhile, a young girl's life and the lives of her family are affected in a real way while Internet trolls flippantly hit "post" and then go back to watching Days of Our Lives. The reason this case exists/ has gained so much attention is because of the homosexual component, and that upsets me so much that it almost makes me sick. Gazillions of older boys are dating younger girls (or vice versa) as we speak, but we're not speaking about them, are we? I didn't think so.
Thank you! You are so right! That's what I love about writing - what a release it is for me. I haven't thought again about this turd burglar since I wrote this post. Yay! Good riddance. :)
Yep, either way, I'm happy applying to "jerk" label to this dude. :)
Tami, gosh, I never even thought that he was saying I falsified my diagnosis! But now that you've said it and I re-read what he wrote, you could be right. Dang, and I thought he was a dumb-dumb before...
I hate the confrontation. I was so nervous sending that email to him; then I was all like, "Wait. Why am I the one who's nervous about this?' I agree that too many people don't think the rules apply to them. I wish the situation had never come up, but since it did, I felt like I should contact him. Thanks, Adrienne!
Thanks, Lisa! If there was a list of tools, this guy would be #1. ;)
I'd pretty much turn anything to ice cream right now. ;) Thanks, Michelle! We are very thankful for good news.
I'm willing to try more Vitamin D... E, F, or G... as long as I can eat cheese again. ;) Thanks, Adrienne!
We use Dove at our house, too. :) Love this campaign by them! Very real and refreshing.
