Odds are all expenses were paid by the Federal Government. Possibly even for the destruction of the original coffin. In short, the coffin was not the property of the funeral director.

The Funeral home should buy back the coffin (regardless of new cost) be held liable to Robert Oswald and then destroy the coffin in their crematorium.

No sign is going to make a difference. The speed is plainly posted and the corner clearly marked. If you think it is bad now it often was much worse when the posted speed was 70 until Burlingame. Had many a folk enter the corner at 80 or more not to leave the corner under their own power.

The driver was cited for failure to keep in his lane hitting the center guard rail. Apparently the investigators saw a big black tire mark on the center rail at the beginning of the skid marks. For all you who think speed is a factor; if a truck is speeding in that corner the inside rail is the last thing that will be hit.

Mr. Mitchel could have been doing any number of activities to cause his loss of attention and turning too much to the left on a very sharp left hander. My last thought is that its an odds on favorite that this was not his first trip up I5 so he knew what was ahead and simply failed to pay attention in a corner he knew to be dangerous.

As soon as you Divorce TRIMET from MAX and WES I will support money that will just support buses. Take a look at San Francisco. They have buses (MUNI), Light rail (BART) and commuter rail (CALTRANS). Each is budgeted separately and each serves a needed purpose.

Being separate entities each transportation system keeps track of its goal and must serve a real need to the public and not just be eye candy for a handful of politicians. For now TRIMET is just a wild animal run a muck.

Gee, maybe if we paid a realistic wage TRIMET could hire more drivers and you wold get the breaks you should have and the health issue would be a non issue. If your job is that stressful then you should be demanding better working conditions or reduced time exposed to the hazard.

Increasing your pay and benefits may compensate your for the lousy working conditions but does nothing for public safety.

Hey TRIMET. I work for a major private employer in Oregon. I pay 30% of my health care expenses plus a significant co-pay. Why do you need better then the people that you work for?

Appreciate that you got such liberal benefits in the past. It is time to come inline with Oregon's industries.

Lets remember Ronald Reagan and PATCO. No contract = no job. There is no shortage of people willing to drive busses and pay their fair share.

If you are really worried about radiation you need to think about the device in your home or held in you hand. the further you are from a tower the users device switches to higher power levels. Radiation form your home device or cell phone next to your ear is far greater then whet you will receive from a tower antennae that is no less the 60 feet from your ears.

Bottom line is we are already bombarded with radio waves and the more towers the lower the power setting needed to make things work.

My neighbor stopped making payment in April. That's about the last time they mowed their lawn or picked up after the dog. They leave trash in the driveway and spend their money on junk. I hope they were not with BA as I would really like a neighbor who cares for their community.

No one twisted their arm to by the house and he has the same income he had two years ago. This couple just decided to go their own way and to heck with the rest of us.

Perhaps some did fall upon bad times through no fault of their own but no one is being done a favor by delaying the inevitable because a bank forgot to put I after E. Little sympathy here.

Could someone please explain the medical necessity of injecting Calcium Chloride to an infant? Suing a Dr. and 2 dentists? What dental work does a newborn really need. If I surmise correctly we are pushing healthy teeth way too early.

Is the real issue the incorrect injection or that we are needlessly injecting infants?

I wish the best for Amy, Matt and kids. I met them and they very nice people with a big heart. They are very smart to be where they are now. They're very motivated and energetic to help others. At least they not siting at home feeling sorry and negative just because they are different .

I enjoyed all their shows and found their travels interesting. I may not be able to travel in the same style as Matt and Amy did but my husband and I have some new places we want to see.

Perhaps the show did run longer then you liked. But isn't that better then folks living on welfare using your money like too many do. Lets just be happy for them.
