My father in law has passed on and mother in law lives abroad, but my parents are the same way with my kids. They adore my boys and they are enthralled with my baby daughter. It means a lot to the entire family to have them involved. :-) Found you on StumbleUpon.

I don't think I will ever understand how a mother's maternity leave is not respected. I've had my own share of issues - with each of my 3 children. It's particularly bad when it comes from another woman. I don't want to stereotype or judge. But you know what, what you're doing is important, and more power to you for focusing on building a strong family.
