Thus it will be case if one touches either by target or by loading, such a 'loaded' round. It is not the be all to end all that many people think that it will have to be. Shooting along the spine of the cabin destroys the longerons. Again, fatal to flight. As to WWII A/c and air-to-air collisions? The Luftwaffe actually strengthened the leading edges of the Me-109's and the FW-190's and it was hoped that the A/c would survive but they did allow that at least, hopefully, the pilot could COULD bail out if necessary. My guess is that you were not a back-seater in an F-4. You would know what an M-61A1 could do and you would know that the F-16 was part of the LWF program and it was supposed to replace not just the F-4 but also another A/c Oh well.
