LOL! So were Democrats really supporters of Jim Crow? I didn't know that, here in England we're led to believe it is the Republicans who are Evil Incarnate. Let's hope they make a similar move away from their zeal for the sacrament of infanticide... As for the odinists ... pff!. The real odinists (my anscestors) converted to the cult of the crucified Jew way, way back in the day.

The Wild Hunt : Quick Note: Dianne Sylvan on Pagan Belief

I never put it that way, embreis did. I'm sure you could trawl through all sorts of literature and find people insulting one another's religion. BIG DEAL! The point is, Christians are open to the reality of supernatural encounters, which they no doubt understand in their own way. If that is the same as *a priori* dismissing it, then you seem to be guilty of the same dismissal of Christianity.

AFAIK there is no such doctrine, though Christians are free to believe so. But at least you agree that Christians can accept the reality of supernatural entities outside of their own canon.

Sure, Christianity is arrogant with its claims to the one true God, but it does not deny a priori other people's experiences with the supernatural. Indeed, many early christians believed the gods existed, they just didn't think they were due worship.

Not sure what you think I or the cute mountie are demanding of you. I am just dropping messages, same as you.

Are you saying the Christian movement didn't happen? Just because they didn't write it down early enough for your satisfaction?

a) the frog/beaver dream stuff you mention sounds like chaos magjician techniques i have read about. no disrespect meant by the term. b)where i am going: the apostles recount supernatural experiences and are very firm about the fact that they actually happened. I think that is the level of conviction that montecute is looking for.

Snoozepossum, cute name, There is a lot different between, say, the resurrection event that the christians believe in and the chaos magjician stuff you are talking about. // Two thousand years ago, Jews and others took what they decided were divine encounters, and saw those leading them in a direction that few of their religious authorities thought was in keeping with commandments and prophecy. Would all of them, at that time, answer a question about what they believed with a definitiveness that would seem accpetable to you? // The apostles were one of those groups, and they did answer such questions definitively, in many cases to the point of death.
