I had a baby food mill when my kids were little. Ground up and mushed up most of their foods. To hear of someone having a baby who weighs 40 pounds just shocks me! We talk about kids being obese during the recent years. Now we are starting the era of babies being obese. They have no chance!

Your reasoning speaks truth. We have learned to let the food droppings lay where they fell, instead of cleaning them up. We inadvertently have created a feeding ground for these animals.

Gives a new meaning for a "piggy back ride", only this one is with a turtle.

These animals are amazing and majestic in tropical waters, so to see one who came to the currents off the Oregon Coast is really surprising.

Hope the big guy pulls through.

There are many here who are very sad that your cousin died at someone else's hand like this. It's just sad that such a young good life was taken so quickly, when there are so many out there destroying their lives, and not readily suffering any consequences from their actions to themselves.

Know that there are many strangers who are sending their thoughts, kindnesses and prayers to your extended family and the friends at this time.

It's because I admitted in my comment I didn't know the town's location, and they actually had to look it up as well.

I'm just sorry that this had to wreck someone's joys in life at the moment. The family or families are having a really hard time understanding how this happened. My heart really goes out to them.

Had to look at where Veneta was located. Never heard of the town.

Sorry to hear of the deaths. Small aircrafts going down could be numerous things, including rags left in the air intake, or a bolt coming loose.

My sympathies to the families of these people who died.

The cab of the truck looks like it has a lot of stuff in it. Maybe a load shift and unattentive driver caused the accident?

Whatever the case - sorry to hear that someone lost their life like this.
