Easy, you assume that posting here makes you experienced. That's a big leap, in the wrong direction.

If it works with the tmobile sim, then it's definitely a location issue, the O2 3G signal is probably not there or not strong enough. Try it somewhere else, like the center of the city.

- so much lag in the maps and ipod apps - it crashes sooo much - no jailbreak (yet) But, I love the copy paste, the landscape texting and emailing makes it all worth it, the tethering, here's hoping for a quick stability fix

Use the latest quickpwn, the unlock will still be there and so will your data. unjailbreak you can achieve by restoring, and if you make a backup before you restore you won't loose anything

Everything is AFAIK, I'm in Belgium now and don't have any of those issues. But with PWNageTool you can create an activated FW, so my guess is you can use any AT&T sim in there. When I was in the states a few months ago I had an iPhone with a plan and another cell with a PayAsYouGo sim, I cancelled my plan and continued to use the iPhone3G with my PAYG sim.

Depending on what you want to do - you can't unlock for now, nor downgrade to an earlier BB. - you can cook an activated FW and restore using that, but still only on the network it was locked to.

find a "trustable" custom firmware on the web that has those features and restore using that firmware. Or just stay on 2.2 and pray yellowsn0w will one day work on 2.30.03
