I am 1 of the fortunate people in the Elkhart area who still have a job with an rv company and I took time off today to go and make a stand for MY rights while I still have them. I heard that there were people there who were paid to hold signs for the Obama camp so I went over and picked up 1 of their signs and did a little mingling... I found a nice lady who kindly showed me her check for $50 that she received to participate. When I asked her if she was a local resident or if she had a job she said she had never heard of Wakarusa, IN that she was from the other side of Chicago. When I asked her if she had to claim that $50 on unemployment as income or if she had to pay taxes on that money she realized I wasn't on her side and quickly walked away. If the President was so concerned about the people of Elkhart he could have at least gone down to our unemployment office and found people who would have stood there for 2 hours for $50 tax free unclaimed money. The buses were gone before the motorcade (who by the way snuck in the side door so he wouldn't have to face those he cares so much about) so I guess they too cared about our communities.
