Well if they did go then they must have seen a completely different side of the city from me. The ice pops thing was a disappointment - they were everywhere in every Turkish city I went to and when I finally needed them (ice pops were one of the few things I could keep down)...well, nowhere to be found.

A clear sign that the city wanted me out.

Embarrassing but true, Audrey. I don't know why LP provided this wonderful review on Gaziantep. Let down was an understatement and I learned not to rely 100% on guidebooks!

Max, you clearly didn't read the post. Have a read of it again, and then come back with something intelligent to say. If you read my post on Malatya, you'll see that I loved the city. Being sick didn't ruin it, but that's background information.

The information I was given on Gaziantep that proved to be untrue was what disappointed me.

There's no need to be rude online - would you be this abrasive in person, I wonder?
