Please read our article O-182, which shows clearly that love the sinner – hate the sin is an unbiblical notion.
It is unbiblical and comes from Hinduism – Mahatma Ghandi to be precise! God specifically tells us He hates
sin. He also says He loathes homosexuals who will not repent and turn from their wicked ways

Steve, we have many articles on this site and our legacy site www.christiandoctrine.net which cover the whole doctrine of election. Barry has written another article on the subject which is here http://www.christiandoctrine.com/index.php?option...

Election is written all across the Bible, starting with the calling of Abraham and the setting up of the Jewish nation, to the calling and commanding of all men to believe and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, the prophets and the apostles. You have heard the gospel being preached in the past “repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour and follow and obey God’s commandments”. Are you going to obey God or reject Christ?

Richard: Please note that Dale was awarded £7,000 in damages for his wrongful arrest for street preaching in Cumbria –see ‘Dale Mcalpine vs Cumbria Police’ Christian Institute Fact Sheet http://www.christian.org.uk/mcalpine_facts.pdf Others have similarly received damages from the police for wrongful arrest for street preaching in the UK. Freedom of speech in this country includes preaching in public spaces. See the fact sheet produced by the Christian Institute http://www.christian.org.uk/issues/2007/leafletin...
Regarding the volume of the street preaching, we often have Karaoke type live music events in the public streets of Swansea, which can be heard some distance away.
Concerning religiosity in the UK, it is true that secularism and atheism are growing in the UK, but that is not an argument for stopping the preaching the commands of God, the creator of all things, in a public space. One of which is, God commands all men everywhere to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Will you obey?

Richard, your comments are so full of political correctness nonsense they are not worthy of reply.
Dale was preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and stating that homosexuality is a sin amongst many others. He is a gentle and meek (Biblical sense) man and did nothing offensive in word or behaviour apart from state Biblical facts and teaching in a public place.
If you think Dale was tough in his words you should read the gospels and read how Jesus Christ cut through the politically correct nonsense of the day to the truth – it’s what is in a man’s heart (thoughts and desires) that matters.
GLBTQ’s want to stop all discussion of their sexual activities by Christians and others who present scientific objections and then expect everyone to applaud them when they have a “gay pride” day flagrantly displaying and celebrating their abominable behaviour and queer lifestyle. That may seem "reasonable" to GLBTQs, but it is not the definition of the word I know.

Wind Street was reported to have the second highest number of reported crime incidents in the whole of the UK http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/Swansea-s-Wind-... in 2010. I think that makes it notorious by anyone’s standards. Personally I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near Wind Street late at night. Jeremiah Cry preachers were brave men to take the Christian message of hope and freedom from the tyranny of sin to people who are lost to hedonism.

In reading Sandra’s comments I did not see hatred, but assertiveness in her comments; standing up for the truth with the authority of the scriptures. Christians cannot respect other religions or beliefs as Christ explicitly said that for all unbelievers their father is the devil, Satan. All other religions are idolatrous. Christians can respect an individual as a person (love thy neighbour), but not their sin or idolatry.

Well done Sandra. All Christians need to stand by the authority of the scripture and use it to rebuke the unrighteous. The time for pussy footing is over and is not the way of true Christians.

L Christian has cut to the whole crux of the BPD issue and behaviour. I wish I had used the authority of the scriptures more forcibly when dealing with an alleged BPD person (it’s only a label) who was behaving psychotically with violence to property and persons, using the most abominable language and trying to manipulate and control all interactions with loved ones into the justification of their sinful behaviour. Yet saying at the same time, I am a Christian, it’s not my fault.
People who sin hate being challenged to prove that they are Christians by conforming to the scriptures – yet that is what a Christian is, someone who seeks righteousness and to conform their life to the scriptures. The scripture does not tolerate sin and nor should a Christian in another or in their own life – repent and follow Christ that is the good news of the gospel.

It was a pleasure to welcome 19 respectful and polite Christian men from Jeremiah Cry Ministries to Swansea. They worked very hard using every opportunity to get out on to the streets of Swansea to preach the Good News that Jesus Christ is the saviour from the wrath of God for all who believe in Him.
They were perfect house guests and tidied up before they left for Scotland.
Street preaching is a contentious issue for some Christians. These men are sincere and passionate in serving the Lord and giving glory to God by preaching the word in public so that men and women might be saved from their sins. If you live near where they are preaching go and support them and see for yourself what they are all about.
