http://non-toxickids.net/ : Safer Play Sand-

Thanks Aud for this comment. I too have been wondering about movement sand! I have a box in my basement (from a family member). It has some bright color so I assume there are dyes, and the sand itself must have some sort of polymer in it for it to be pliable. Anyone have info? I will dig into this soon.

Thanks so much for commenting! Here's some info about higher SPFs. They don't seem to do much more after 30! http://www.webmd.com/beauty/sun/high-spf-sunscree... Thanks for reading and be well!
You could do second hand fleece footies. I know with many washings the flame retardants do come out. I hope this helps!

That is fantastic! We love the poems. Thank you for writing! It is a lovely book and CD. It is still playing in my daughters CD player-- it has been for 10 years now. She has never tired of it. Best wishes to you!

Hi Paty, I didn't know Burt's Bees made PJs. If they are 100 percent cotton and snug fitting (with a label that says-- wear them snug fitting) then they do not have flame retardants. I love MightyNest for most household items and toys. They research everything for safety and environmental impact! Check them out. Best of luck! Katy

Thank you Leigh for your comment. I agree. These children need attention, play, safety, and kindness. Home settings would be best especially for the younger kids. Yes- we can do better than to house children in cells like they are in prison.
