Well, they were bound to find out about this stream sooner or later. Didn't expect them to actually do something about it though. Not because I expected them to cut us some slack or anything (Japanese media companies take copyright way too seriously for that), but because I thought Chinese streaming sites would be out of their reach. Apparently not. Hopefully someone will upload the episode somewhere later.

These all seem to be Chinese channels.

The right station is this one: http://www.fengyunzhibo.com/tv/380789_13611222879...
...and it's down on that site as well.

Hah, didn't even try! Eh, could have been worse, I guess.

Japanese dub, here's your chance to redeem yourself. I'll forgive everything - the cut-out scenes, the questionable translation choices, the dumbed down dialogue, the awkward syllable counts in song lyrics - everything, IF you pull off the big song number. さあ、頑張りなさい。

Yeah, the casting and acting in this dub are top-notch. It does have its problems though - most notably the fact that they made the opening and the ending songs 1.5 minutes long instead of 30 seconds and added a short live action segment at the end, which forced them to cut some scenes from each episode. This was particularly blatant in last week's episode where two cuts were made literally mid-sentence (and one of those was the last line of Flutterguy's song). Also, although I can't recall specific examples right now, I get the feeling from time to time that the dialogue sounds a bit "dumbed down". But then, I haven't really checked out most of the other dubs, so maybe the Japanese one fares pretty well overall.

Dangit, how in Equestria did it not occur to me to search for the director?! Thanks for the heads-up!

You can also double check with this: http://honyaku.yahoo.co.jp/ In my experience Yahoo's translator is correct more often than Google's, but sometimes it does give hilariously wrong results for a sentence that GT translated correctly. And if two variants are still not enough for you, you can download a translation aggregator, like the one here: http://sprucefir.wordpress.com/vn-tutorial/enrich... (IIRC it only works on Windows).

There's a mistake in the first actress' name, it should be "Watanabe".

Plus there's also Aki Hata <a href="http://(https://twitter.com/hataratti)," target="_blank">(https://twitter.com/hataratti), a prolific anime lyricist (her credits include songs for Azumanga Daioh, Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star and like half the shows in the last two seasons) who wrote the lyrics for the opening song. And then there's the official Japanese franchise account <a href="http://(https://twitter.com/mylittleponyjpn)" target="_blank">(https://twitter.com/mylittleponyjpn).

Yes. "Attack on Titan" is the show's (somewhat awkwardly translated) English title.
