I knew before the last episode that the producers had chosen Antonio the winner. I told my husband so and why. It's about bringing a different personality type to the design show lineup. Dan was the better designer - by far. We're not interested in watching the Antonio show - or even HGTV now for that matter - because it turns out that its all about the business part of it and not about what the show was supposedly about - finding unknown talented designers and giving them a chance to shine and grow - and win on their artistic strength, design merits and - yes - personality. Dan sparkles as a genuine and likeable person, just as warmly as Antonio exudes his "ruff-tough-guy everyman appeal." Made me sad for the judges - I kind of lost respect for them, too.
