It's something very disturbing about the eyes and mouth. The grief as Ingrid identified, unbearable.

Afrolicious : Support Good Music: Team Muhsinah

I saw this. I was going to donate on Weds. She offered too close of a deadline from when she opened the project on kickstarter. IThat means she would need 6,200 people to give $5 or almost 1,000 people per day to give $5 on a holiday weekend (when nobody is at their computer. I hope she tries it again. She's a dynamic artist and deserves the funding.

Yesterday's Poem : Aiyana II

IntenseDebate Notification
Perhaps you can write about how \"the fire is dying down,\" in the context of the Aiyana Jones case and all the other cases of homicides by police officers.

I will not forget her name. There are others.

I have a poem for just about every victim of police murder in the last decade. Just have to dig through my journals to find them and put them together.

I agree with you that an emotional movement is just as valid as a social one.

IntenseDebate Notification
Well, I came to the conclusion that activists don't really exist. There is only such a thing as an organizer moving people toward a singular goal. I don't have the stamina to live the life of an organizer.

IntenseDebate Notification
I'll add @JaymesonJiles. You know I'm a retired organizer/activist. Yes not even 30 yet and I retired. Poetry is a way for me to express the emotions that I don't know how to express. It gives me a vehicle to give voice. This comment also reminds me to finish posting the suite.
