Me and my husband talk about this s**t all the time and use to hear on the radio/tv how you could get a loan for house/car without a job, proof of income, or anything and thought how is this ever going to work out?
We thought if it don't, those dumb ass's will be hit hard.
Well here we are today and no nothing is going to happen to those people, they still get everything they want, just I am paying for it now! No hard times for them, no letting your kids know how to "rough" it for awhile till we get back on our feet.
I don't wish no ill will on anybody but living beyond your means is a no brainier!'
I guess you could say I am fed up with whole system. And I think it all starts @ home!

Me and my husband have played by all the rules, cars are paid for, house paid for, pay all cc each month, don't have any kids and have some money in the bank to have fun. And then the world goes H**L in a hand basket. Because of the generation of sh**d's they want to make us pay for the rich people down the road that bought the huge monstausity house that now they can't pay for. ARE YOU KIDDING! You came down in the country, mutilate some farm land and built some giant house and put up all your big street lights for security to blind the rest of us and now you want us to help you pay for that stupid eye sore??????????????????????????????????????

Now today married & on my own, I know what she went though. Me & my husband have both lost our jobs (both going over seas) and been able to make it without help from the government and not even wanting to ask.
But kids now days are not taught no bad/hard times at all, what happened to telling a kid NO????????
This whole generation only knows if I want it I can/should get it............WHAT!
What happened to EARN IT? WORK FOR IT?

I would like to know how this world came to raise such pansies??????
I come from a single mom (dead beat dad ran off when I was 6) and she lost her job in the 80's. I am now 37 and learned a lot from that experience. I never went hungry, was never without a warm bed to sleep in, never without love. I didn't have everything the other kids in school had but that only made me a stronger woman today! Watching my mom do everything she could to take care of us was the best thing she could have done. She was a wonderful mom. And later on in life mom told me that during that time she had asked for help from the govt. and was turned down cause she made too much money on unemployment?????????????
