I'm sorry, but I don't know if others have posted this idea. And I cannot credit the person who thought it up, but in Pinellas County FL the South 9-12 Project group has conducted a couple of health care bill "funeral processions", and video taped them. The North 9-12 Project group will do likewise on this Saturday. More comfortable than standing in the heat. Even more showy than signs alone. Cars are "decorated" with slogans, etc. Safety always uppermost and all laws abided. Regards

Hi justfolk. At first I misread the post about a CONTINENTAL CONGRESS. It's the constitutional. convention that's risky. See Napolitano's written explanation of a con-con and Beck's reply at his website: http://www.glennbeck.com/content/articles/article... I found it by a search on his site, but it's archived. Hope the link works. Briefly, a Constitutional Convention is risky for the same reasons the current Administration is risky. Beck said in part: "...If a constitutional convention were held today there would be no limits on what they could do and it’s very possible we end up with the Constitution shredded...."

Thank you for trying to reach me directly. I went to your website. Well of course I didn't read what you wrote here. I saw what I was fearfully thinking. You haven't completely wasted your time however. I will study the CONTINENTAL CONGRESS further. Although it's clear on your website, you might want to try to draw attention to the difference between one con-con and the other when writing about your plan - for the sake of people like me. This is precisely the approach I and others have been looking for. I even emailed Judge Napolatano, no reply. I will share it with our 9-12 group. Thanks

Glenn says this is risky especially with the scoundrals in office now. They will not be limited to one agenda; they will change the whole thing. Something similar happened last time. Please reply. How will you be able to handle this?

Respectfully submitted

My posts are out of order due to splitting them. Sorry, I don't do this posting stuff much.

Small business employs the major workforce of America. Those workers are us. They are the ones on whose backs the economy has always flourished. The ones who obey laws and pay taxes.
If small business can't get a loan, inventory and services become limited. Revenue slows. Workers are let go. Business closes. And it's big brother to the rescue. Sure, in the form of some "ism" that isn't "capital".
If you've got more ideas to help in this effort, please tell us. You can contact us with pros and cons here on The 9-12 Project boards for all to see or at http://www.meetup.com/North-Pinellas-912-Project/...
Thanks.

Those of us who are out here working already know what's going on and will support those business owners who participate. Are you willing to join the spirit of the Americans who are, at their own expense and inconvenience, going to Washington, DC, on Saturday, September 12, 2009, to demonstrate against loss of freedom and this Administration?
As Glenn Beck has reported, CIT has been denied a government bail-out. CIT makes loans to small business. But the big guys are working with the Administration, are too big to fail, get bailed-out and stimulated into being beholden to and directed by the government as they seek to avoid consequences and gain favor in future.
This Administration would rather find a way to get STIMULUS money to small business, or have government underwrite small business loans rather than to let CIT capitalism work, in order to drag small business into their power-grab scheme as well.

Come on you small business owners. Help us find a way to show the silent majority what's happening, how they will be affected, and get them involved. Get the Chamber of Commerce, business journals, small business lobbyists, local government politicians, anybody, to support a voluntary, "brief shut down of capitalism" to commemorate 9-11-01 and protest the pending "forced" end to capitalism.
How can 9-12ers and all Americans join with small business to make a difference? Surely the majority of Americans who are traditionalists and the largest economic force in the country could work together to change the course of our elected representatives.
The brief shut down would be advertised. Materials would be made available to petition, join, educate, and take action to save our Constitution and our country.
Are business owners and your employees willing to stand in front of your closed store on Friday night, September 11, 2009, with a protest sign while turning away your customers who will be the out-of-the-loop, uninformed, uninvolved Americans we need? Could you ask them to take that stand with you to swell the numbers?

Some in our North Pinellas 9.12 Project meetup group have come up with an idea that spins off the sentiment of small business owners, and we're looking for input. We want large numbers of Americans in and out of business to plan a memorial of September 11, 2001, combined with a peaceful demonstration against this Administration by INVOLVING THE SILENT MAJORITY, even if it's involuntary and inconvenient to them.___Glenn Beck recently reported that he is receiving many letters from small business owners describing the crisis they face under this Administration. Some, in desperation and frustration, have even suggested closing their businesses temporarily in demonstration of their plight.___Let's say you're driving home from work on Friday night. You want to stop at the ATM, fill the gas tank and pick up beer and chips at the convenience store, or stop at a restaurant for dinner, or pick up fast food to take home, or see a movie. But your favorite, convenient, local retailers have all closed their doors and shut down business for a few hours.___Could that really happen as a result of a declining economy and devalued dollar? Or should we perhaps try it by design?__continued
