Its 69 degrees here in Iowa today. Global warming is causing the unusually low temperatures in June and now in July. If the warming continues on this path we will be freezing in August.

The lack of any comprehensive energy plan will affect the price of oil and other energy. We should be drilling, building nuclear generating plants, researching alternated fuels and other energy sources. Electric cars may be feasible in an urban area but if you have to drive 100 miles for specialized medical treatment and the auto will only go 100 miles on a charge how do you return home the same day?
