Well, I have to make this reply a new post since I can't remember where my original reply was. (I've got a terminal case of CRS. For those who don't know what CRS is: Can't Remember Shh...stuff.) Goober, Luke is 25. He has been in the Army for a bit more than six yrs. He finished this tour in Aug - 13 months. He received a battlefield promotion to SGT/E-5 & has been recommended to be awarded a Bronze Star. I believe it has been approved but not yet awarded.

Lucky you! My son, Luke, has done a total of 24 months combat in Iraq. Both tours in/around Mosul. One of the world's vacation destinations...

I did not see Shep's "show" today. I don't watch him much anymore since he stated DHS was right to list veterans as potential terrorists after the shooting at the DC museum. I didn't listen to him at all for six weeks or so, and now watch him only when there is a specific news story I want to see. Yep, he ticked me off!

I'm concerned about HR45IH, as well, but I am also concerned with HRes351 & S843IS. All seem more than a bot onerous to me. I sent my Rep an email asking about the first two and what his impressions are regarding the Senate bill. I'll post Rep Coffman's response when I get it.

There is a reason the US is not referred to in the Bible End Days Prophecy. I'm not saying anything is imminent, but you have to wonder what the Left's goal is with all their social engineering legislation. One of three things could happen IMO:1. US goes bankrupt and hyperinflation rules effectively taking us out of our position of world leader. 2. Secession of one or more states with the possibility of armed conflict between DC and the states determine to form a new Republic. 3. A WMD attack occurs decapitating the gov't leading to America forming city/states. None of these are pretty and hopefully do not come to pass.

Oh, it is going to get much worse. The Obama Administration's debate about bailing out the print media and taking ownership just like the banks and car companies. Gee, does anybody really think Obama won't be telling them what news is fit to print? Couple that with the new FCC Czar's plan to fine, excuse me, bill conservative talk radio and TV (read Fox News) 100% of their annual operating budget, annually, for FCC licensing? The money is to be used to support "minority view point" radio and TV service. Yep, that's fair and balanced...

I checked the committee site and I got the msg saying my application is still being approved, so that is probably the reason I can't find the join button... I'm no techno guy - something usually goes wrong everytime I turn my PC on... IT said I'm a danger to the community... :)

I would also include the President's speech at the UN Wednesday. He has de facto rejected Israel with the call to return to pre-67 borders; partitioning of Jerusalem; elimination of all Israeli settlements. He, in effect, called for the UN to become a world power as he states the US can no longer act in the same capacity it has for the last 67 years. Couple that with Ban Ki Moon's (and others) call for a new world currency. It is definitely among us.

I started a blog on wordpress.com earlier this month to "vent" since it doesn't do any good to keep talking to the same people over and over especially when they agree with me... I don't believe they are connected "locally". Some of these clowns might be wannabes while others do have connections to al Qeada. al Qeada is always looking for ways to kill us and scare us. Could it be they don't care if a cell succeeds because of the attention they receive, and the fear it spreads among Americans as a whole?
