I had done some work for a friend, he paid me about a hundred bucks from his business account with BOA. Because I did not have an account with them they wanted me to pay a 5 dollar fee to cash his check at his bank from his account with cash in it. 5 bucks to cash a check for less than a hundred bucks. I went to Safeway because I didn't have time to go by my credit union and needed the money for gas. They only wanted a buck to cash it.
