Big Government : House GOP Lines Up Again for Big Nat Gas Boondoggle

"programs that would assist in the development of market-friendly alternative fuels" I'm a bit confused, there are no market friendly alternative fuels to gasoline and natural gas. Ethanol and electric cars are not market friendly in any sense of the word. On the other hand we have abundant sources of natural gas...if we can get our own government to let us recover it...that would allow us to cut back on imported oil. I would agree that tax subsidies are unneeded. This article appears to be pimping for more tax payer money for ethanol and wind and solar programs. I sense a Trojan horse.

Big Journalism : Crooks and Liars Pretend The Tea Party Isn't Real

I, frankly, have to agree that there is no such thing as the Tea Party, at least not in the sense of a Democrat or Republican Party. There is no national headquarters, there are no national fund raising drives and for the most part there are no state headquarters remotely resembling major party organizations. The closest thing to a formal organization is the Tea Party Express and while I agree with the sentiments of smaller government and less federal intrusion in my life they don't represent me. Understand, the whole point of the left declaring the Tea Party to be an entity is to have an organization to attack and vilify. They can't attack 60 percent of the population, represented by Republicans across the board , many independents and even a few Democrats who agree with much of what the "Tea Party" represents without admitting that they, liberals, now only represent public and private unions and the media. I don't want a national organization, I want millions of fiscally conservative Americans who will vote that way under the umbrella of the Republican Party with fiscally conservative independents and Democrats thrown in for good measure.

Big Government : Liberals Get Smoking Mad

Talk about convoluted logic. What does what John Conyers reads have to do with electronic smoking, other than giving you an opportunity to get a dig in? You then go on to accuse the author of wanting to have phone sex ala Weiner. You seem to be projecting some of your own issues.

Big Government : Internet Frees Egypt, But 'Doing No Evil' Doesn't End There

"That simply getting rid of Mubarak is the end game, and what results, no matter what, is all good." How incredibly naive! To get rid of one evil with absolutely no plans for what comes next is without question worse than having done nothing. We're talking about an entire country with millions of lives at stake not a social experiment that can be undone. I shudder at the thought of the incredible harm that will be unleashed if Egypt goes the way of Iran. As evil as the Shah was, what replaced him has proven to be many times worse. I cannot believe mob rule is ever the solution. For a history lesson look at the difference between the American revolution and the French revolution. One created the greatest country in history, the other torture and countless deaths.

Right on target. As a Navy Vet I can tell you the video was pretty mild compared to things that went on aboard ship. But of course, that was before the wussies who actually listen to NPR took control of the military like our current CIC.

Please provide any kind of proof of what you're blathering on about and don't bother with "Food" which is nothing more than propaganda from the hate big business crowd.
Breitbart.com : Mayor Daley lays out strict gun rules for Chicago

Mayor Daley: "Everybody has a right to sue," And liberals seem to have a right to be exceedingly ignorant when it comes to facts regarding crime rates and guns ownership. How can anyone believe that a person should not have the right to protect their own family? There isn't a policeman in the country that will tell you that they can protect you in your home. The best they can do is arrest the perp after he kills you.

Big Government : Joint Committee on Taxation Confirms that ObamaCare Does Not Enforce Individual Mandate

The extra auditors were tied to the Health care bill but their hiring had nothing to do with the Health care bill? If they were needed for standard enforcement why not pass a separate bill to hire them instead of risk not getting them because they're tied to a bill "that stood a good chance of not getting passed".. Your logic is, as usual, illogical. Conservatives have said a great deal about tax cheats and scofflaws...Tim Geithner and The Honorable Representative Charlie Rangel.

It may be that there is no "enforcement provision" but if there is an IRS form that has to be filled out then the IRS is going to reduce your refund to cover the amount "owed". If no refund is due they are going to add the amount to the bottom line. What percentage of people are not going to pay up when it's on their tax form? A small percentage perhaps but the IRS is going to keep asking you for the money so the vast majority of people are going to pay up. Additionally, it won't be before the Dems realize this and pass a bill with enforcement authority for the IRS that includes penalties and interest.
