That is sad.. for a very long time I felt that we were the good guys. now I realize that we are but pawns in a chess game and only called on to buy from greedy corporations or in time of war when they need fresh buddies... If I hadn't gone through everything I've went through the last 7 years, I would still be clueless.. Guess everything happens for a reason, but to see our country destroyed because we all have denial blinders on is very sad.
The only way to beat the big money guys is with big money. There are 150 million taxpaying 1040 type taxpayers in America. If each would put up 100 bucks, we would have the money to compete with them and beat them. But who would they let carry the torch. Without being United, we will fail It really is that simple.
Keep America At Work : Way to go Bill Cosby, You and Lee Iaococca have my vote

you're not putting me on the spot and I apprecieate you keeping me honest as I'm the world's worst about fact checking this stuff because like the rest of America, we are looking for Hero's to lead us out of this mess. Our movie stars are no longer our hero's, just as our sports figures are no longer our hero's. We need people like Bill Cosby, Lee Iaococca and others from years past to step up to the plate and say we are Americans, we're proud to be American's and we take the high road and we take care of our own. That is why I post stuff like this that I agree with and why I probably will continue to do so even though I end up with egg on my face. Bottom line, where are our hero's to lead us back to where we got lost at?
wasn't aware of the Panama Canal and you are right as that is too close to home. On the front of today's Wall Street Journal is a blurb about somebody called "Good Time Charlie" and how he was a congressman that spurred U.S. funding for Afghanistans resistance against Russia and I was thinking to myself, other countries are probably doing just that right this minute and Russia and China might be two of them.
I never even knew these type of people existed, and I suspect the majority of Americans know nothing of them too. I no longer hunt, but I will always defend the right of Americans to bear arms to protect us from idiots like these. What worries me is if they get in charge of the military and if they take over the government, they would be and that will pit mother against son, father against daughter and so on and nobody will win My recent post The death of a great country thanks to globalism

The same people that do not want you to kill a chicken so that they can have meat to eat will be bitching when the grocery store shelves are empty because they have put the chicken farmers, or whatever, out of work to live their perfect lifestyle Problem is, when you borrow from the devil and you send your jobs to the devil and you sleep with the devil, the devil owns you.
I don't doubt that at all. I did an experiment the other day and went online to the texas foodstamps website and accurately entered all of my data. Keep in mind, I am as close to being homeless as you can be except for unemployment that will expire in another 4,000 dollars or so. According to that site, I would qualify for 16 dollars per month. If these people that are on food stamps are in the same shape, what exactly can they buy for 16 dollars per month? For myself, I got lucky this week and actually have 3 lawn mowers to work on that might make me 100 dollars total if I can fix them, so I consider myself fortunate. But it is a substantial amount of money away from what I made in 2002 and because there are some 30 million others out there going through what I'm going through, this is why our retailers and now our governments are going broke. Yet our leaders are in denial

Keep America At Work : Do you really want the American Gestapo Running our health care and other businesses?

I hear you. When I have money I frequent a place in kerrville called Mamacitas that is a mexican food place. They remember my name and they treat me good so they get my business. I also have stood in line at sprint in vegas and the license plate establishments. As a matter of fact, I went to walmart the other day to get a part for my nephews ipod for my mother and I could tell that the guy could care less about my problems and I wanted to grab him by the collar and wake him up. That is why I will no longer work for corporate America. They have gotten too big and now you are just a number and a disposable commodity to them. Bring back the local mom and pop and local government and tell the big boys that they have grown too big to be allowed to stay in business or government because they have turned from our servant into a parasite that will destroy all of us. <div style="margin: 6px 0pt 0pt; display: block;"><a class="a2a_dd" href="http://www.addtoany.com/share_save"><img src="http://static.addtoany.com/buttons/share_save_171_16.png" alt="Share/Save/Bookmark" width="171" border="0" height="16">

Keep America At Work : In 52 years I NEVER GAVE UP, but I am giving up now

Nope, I haven't given up on life. As a matter of fact, I'm ready and willing to get on with my life. I've lived the life of a hermit, a recluse or whatever you want to call it since Lesley left me around July 2003 and I've done a hell of a lot of thinking and I have determined that I am worthy of a life. But I have decided that I will no longer accept any contracts from the corporate World because I have met the enemy and they are the corporate World. I will be 53 (I think, lost count) in about 11 days and I've spent 7 years waiting for them to put me back in the game and they've actually done that a time or two and even though it made the cash flow situation better, every time I came out on the short end because I would acquire an expense such as a car thinking that hey, times are finally good again. And then they hurled me to the rocks and I lost everything. Well, ???? them. I'm going to find a way to buy this 4 1/2 acres and I'm going to finally plant that garden that I always wanted too and I'm going to pray that I actually get some work that will allow me to pay the bills and whats most important to me is that I am: Going to go on with my life after being in limbo for 7 years. Anybody care to join me? If I can afford it, I might build me a bike and now that I'm walking, I'm thinking that I should build me a jeep or a pickup and I've always wanted that T-Bucket. Screw them guys. I think I might actually go to Luckenbach and have a cerveza or two. Don't remember the exact words, but Waylon said something like "This fast life is killing us, or tearing us apart" and he was absolutely ????ing correct!

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : The Fundamentals of the American Economy Are Sound - Does that sound familiar?

Let me show you how sound the fundamentals are. The 2008 IRS Databook was released last week, yet I've heard NONE of the financial media companies discuss this. Take a look at the charts here that I generated by comparing the IRS databooks from 2001 - 2008 http://keepamericaatwork.com/ind_qty_by_year_irs.... Notice the disconnect between the 3 charts ? 2 of them are trending down, yet employment taxes are still trending up. Could this be why all of our jobs are being sent offshore and all of our corporations assets are being transferred to other countries ? Folks, when the American consumer accounts for the majority of all sales in a country like America and you substantially reduce peoples wages or put them out of work, It will come back and bite our businesses in the butt because their sales will go down, which will mean they will have to lay more people off, just like they are doing. It doesn't get any more simpler then that. Virgil http://www.KeepAmericaAtWork.com
