Everyone should learn how to read the fine print on the back of the tickets you purchase.

" You assume any and all risks occurrin before, during or after event, including ijury by any cause."

The men and women driving these trucks do it to entertain little boys and girls and everything has been fine for the last million spectators but, when something happens that has never happened before we should "destroy them with a lawsuit."

I agree with looking into better safe guards but, someone approved what they have.

My thoughts and prayers to the family.

Their was much panic from people near this situation to get thier children out and away. The older gentleman had a laceration across his throat and the young boy was unconscious. The paramedics had trouble getting through the panic of people. When most of the people cleared I watched them give CPR to the boy for 15 minutes. Planning could have been better but, how does one plan for something like this?

The chances of this happening have to be one in a million.

My prays and thoughts go out to this boys family.

I was at the show and this happened one section over from me in the same row. To clear up a few things the truck was not doing dognuts nor were the fans throwing things at the truck.
People were trying to get the attention of the officials on the field level; the officials have head sets that can communicate to medical personel. It is very loud in the dome when these trucks are running so the only way to get the much needed attention was to throw things down at them. The part that was broken on this truck was the rear drive shaft. The officials were picking this up when the people finally got his attention. I also want to mention all the monster trucks have cages around the drive shafts. This particular cage failed allowing a piece of it to fly about 15 feet up into the stands.
