A $1200 purse. I feel alternately barfy and fantastic when I look at it.

I'm going to make the mac & cheese recipe you posted tonight. I'm a little excited, since my original plan was just to order a pizza. :)

Wow! I'm finding this really inspiring. Since my BF is out in the field 20 days in a month, it's usually just me, and I succumb way, way too often to the siren song of The Box or The Can or The Bag.

I think I can change that. :)

Thank you! Lots of times I feel kind of dumb for apparently being the only person alive who thought all the characters were annoying as hell.

Oh, man.

Gray's (Grey's?) Anatomy.

Arrested Development. I kind of feel shame for admitting this, because EVERYONE else in the whole world seems to like it, but...wow. I did not think it was funny at all.

(but more people should have watched and loved Party Down.)

It probably won't surprise you to hear they were kind of strange.

Also that it was a big iguana.

Honest to God, I think they wanted to mount it (like an animal head) or something. For all I know, it's still in there, freaking people out when they open the door.

My abiding memory of these people is looking in the deep freeze and seeing an iguana foot poking out between the frozen burgers and the popsicles. We didn't really eat anything when we were at their house.

That's fantastic(ly awful)! Now that I think about it, my parents knew a couple who freeze dried their (deceased!) iguana in the deep freeze.

They were probably the placenta eating type.

Oh, absolutely. The part of my brain that's not screaming in terror finds all this fascinating.

Oh my dear God. I don't want to go all CAPS LOCK crazy , but "[I]t is the most natural way because that’s what chimpanzees do."

What. The. Everliving. Fuck.

Thank you for that, and...now I'm going to go lie down for a while.
