The Senate and House of Representatives should not serve more than two terms. Federal Judges, including the Supreme Court should serve no more than two years. The Supreme Court in particular, should be selected specifically on their views of nationally important issues such as abortion on an equal basis. That is; one half for and one half against abortion, not according to what the applicable President's view is.
