http://zillablog.marezilla.com/ : Christmas and Christians who need our prayers

A Blessed Christmas to you and yours Zilla. I didn't realize that they had issues in India. The rest of the countries you have listed I knew about. Thanks for the info. My recent post Merry Christmas from Down Under

Big Government : Next RNC Chair Could Be A Tea Drinking Female

That isn't what I meant. It is a lower profile position. Both Steele and Palin like the limelight more than that position requires.

That would be a bad idea. One of the many reasons that Steele failed was because he is in front of the cameras kinda guy. Palin would be the same way. Be honest, unless you follow politics very closely most people don't know who the chairs even are. They need to be people who work behind the scenes. Not one of Palin's strenghts.

Big Government : Fear Factor: Sarah Palin and 2012

If she doesn't have enough support to get elected, why would people jump on the bandwagon? That is why many don't want to get behind her. They are afraid her nomination will give us four more years of Obama.

The Black Sphere : Political Hip-Hop Hack ML Hill

You forget to mention the shot he got in at Palin. After all, why would anyone even listen to Palin unless she was very pretty? I am sure being attractive doesn't hurt for a woman, but take a look at the some of the woman in the dem party and you will clearly see that isn't the reason that they got elected.

The Black Sphere : Meek Sent to Back of Bus by Clinton

It may be that Crist voters won't vote for the Obama rubber stamp. Look, what you are saying has some truth to it historically, I still think that Meek being a black man is happenstance. The main issue in this situtation is the type of conservatism that Rubio represents. Meek would not beat Rubio one on one even without Crist in the race. Crist was the best chance at kicking Rubio to the curb. And yes the dems would be asking that question because they can't live without asking the race question. I just don't like it when we do the same. They live for it, I would like to think we only use it when it is necessary. I take the Juan Williams firing as an example, you didn't hear the right screaming racism when Williams was fired, That was about his more moderate views and Fox News, not about him being a black man. I was proud that we did not trot out that card. Had the situtation been reversed the left would have.

The Black Sphere : Meek Sent to Back of Bus by Clinton

I was waiting for someone to say this was about race, I am just a little surprised to hear it from you. I don't think that this had anything to do with race, it is about the numbers. I don't mean any offense, but I think that this is simply a case of politics as usual. Rubio is going to be on most short lists for VP in two years. He is articulate, smart, and a committed conservative. That is what they are afraid of. They would have done the exact same thing had the Meek been white. Rubio must be stopped because he is going to cause problems for the dems down the road, that is what they are trying to avoid. The post should really be about why the dems are trying to cozy up to man like Crist, who has proven himself to be nothing but an unprincipled turncoat who is only concerned with power and the status that the title senator will provide.

The Black Sphere : Blacks Turning on Obama

You are correct that the cracks are showing and growing larger every day. I live outside of DC in a very progressive area. They are not happy. Of course they are not happy for the polar opposite reason of you and I, but they are unhappy all the same. It is way too early to say what will happen in 12, but if he were on the ballot today he would be history. We must be very careful who we nominate, because it is clear he must be a one termer.

The Black Sphere : DC Hosts One Crazy Nation

I was at both the Beck rally and this one. The differences are quite amazing. I have compare and contrast photos as well as a wrap up of the literature that I collected. It was an interesting day to say the least. you can check it out if you like. http://912member.blogspot.com

The Black Sphere : Fat Dumb and Unhappy

I live just outside of DC and have been involved with organization that is working so hard to get kids into better schools. They were the ones that administered the voucher program. It really gets under my skin that the voucher program was cancelled. It was wildly successful. You want to change the lives of the people who live below the poverty line, get their kids a good education, they will then lift themselves and their families off of public assistance. I personally don't mind that children of a sitting president go to a private school, I think for their safety and privacy it is the best place for them. But, I do mind that he denies that same thing to the very people who need it the most. Thanks for pointing out that Obama's girls always went to private school. Many people don't realize that.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Proposed "Cap & Trade" Policy Looks Like A Regressive Tax

I am not sure where you live, but a March on Washington on 4th of July really wouldn't be the best of ideas. First and foremost, Congress is not in session. And the amount of people that are here to view the fireworks would make it very difficult. The press coverage wouldn't be that great. If we are going to do this we need to do it when Congress is in session. I live 10 miles outside of DC, and I will tell you getting into DC on the 4th is a nightmare. Great fireworks, but horrible traffic. Lets do it, but do it at time when it will have a greater impact.
