Malay Mail : Intelligent Malaysians speak English | Kamal Amzan | Opinion | Malay Mail Online

1. We need to get out of that mentality that excelling in English or anything whatsoever cannot be measured solely using standardised tests. 2. We must realise that mastery of languages, skills, knowledge etc, is NOT the ends, but rather the means to develop ourselves and mankind as a whole. 3. We must stop reinforcing the notion of excelling for the sake of accumulating wealth / surviving / becoming a cog in our obsolete 'industrial age' economic machine. It's the 21st century! Become curious again, discover things (and ourselves), solve problems!
