Just a week ago today I was on Route 1 enroute to Bridgeport and came upon the same situation. Only by the grace of God, was I not the one who had an accident. I told my husband that this was an accident waiting to happen. I am sure the construction company should have had signs on both ends of the site warning oncoming vehicles that the road was only open on one side, but there were NO signs. It is too late now, but I wish I had called and reported this. Both families involved are in my prayers.
