It just seems to me that the ONLY reason this dog is being saved is because it's cute and it go on TV. It's insane that so much money will be used on one dog Mother Nature didn't build right (and believe me there are many more who aren't going to be helped) when the money could be spent in myriad better ways.

$4000 could have saved at least 1000 human babies and children from dying of diarrhea, for example. What makes the cuteness of a one puppy worth denying thousands of human babies life-saving care? It's disheartening to learn how many adults lack pespective.
