Usually, I don't agree with good ole Ken on most issues. So when I do agree, I feel it is worth a comment. I don't want or need judges that are full of warmth and all gushy. I want judges that follow the law, make judgments based on evidence, and when appropriate, give people like drunk drivers, a thorough chewing out. Hooray for Judge Eiler!
I don't find either Gregoire or Rossi the least bit appealing as leaders. Both took turns telling half-truths, outright lies, and avoiding getting specific, or answering questions directly. For example, Rossi was either wrong or lied about Forbes magazines ranking of Washington as a place to do business. I checked, we are in fact ranked 3rd. But then again, if things are so great why is there a hiring freeze for state jobs? Why is the unemployment rate up. Why are colleges allowed to continually allowed jack up the price of tuition. I am a moderate independent, have been for over a decade. I vote the person I think is least likely to screw things. To be honest I don't want either of these people in office. I am going to see if I can find the voters pamphlet from the primary and write in the guy I voted for then.
