The PC version of Blackra1n worked a treat folks, i made sure to kill any apple based processes before starting anything (iTuneshelper etc)

Please help!

I've been a jailbreaker for a while now, i had no problems with my old iPhone 3G, even when i accidentally updated in iTunes to OS3.1 (baseband 05.11.07), i was able to revert everything back to 3.0 and run the jailbreak again.

I've just got a new 3GS (arrived yesterday) and for the life of me i can't get the thing to jailbreak, i've tried both the pwnage tool 3.1.4 and Blackra1n on my 10.6 Intel MBP. I planning on pinching the kids windows machine this eve to try the Blackra1n method for the PC, but any other hints and tips would be brilliant.

Here's the details of my 3GS if thats any use:

Network - O2 (uk)
OS version: 3.1.2 (7D11)
Carrier: O2 5.0
Model No: MC131B
Modem FW: 05.11.07
