All these horrible hateful comments aren't going to change the world.. what will change the world is us changing ourselve to become more forgiving and lighten our hate that we carry with us. These comments are proof that we are a hateful society. Yes he did hit a dog with a hammer and burry it.. but do any of us know the real story or just the story the media is telling us.

I personally know Hyrum and know that he is the most kind, gernerous, giving, helpful, loving man I have ever met. I bet if you asked anyone you knows him they would say the same. I am so disappointed with everyone sending hate mail and writing to the county to put these people in jail for years over this and making such harsh judgements about someone they don't even know. I would rather see the police spend their time catching drunk drivers, people that have murdered humans, raped women and children, molested children and use and deal drugs. Those are the real problems that our society need to focus on and deal with. Those are the real criminals!! I think this world would be so much better if we weren't so quick to judge and try our hardest to not walk around with so much hate in us... none of us are perfect and neither is Hyrum but what he did doens't mean he deserves all this negative attention.

What he did was horrible but it doesn't make him a horrible person. How many of us have done things that if we would have got caught we would have been in serious trouble. How many of you making these comments have ever drove while drunk? Putting the life of many inocent people and children at risk. I don't think any of us are perfect enough to put such hard judgements on someone we didn't even know.

I am shocked at all the comments people have made. It scares me to think that there are so many people walking around with such violent thoughts. Who are we to judge other people. Do you REALLY know these people well enough to call them murders, or other horrible names you are using. People making comments that they need to be beat over the head with a hammer and burried up to their heads, or spend the rest of their life in jail or make comments on how he cares for his wife. The real criminal here is the media... they go out and twist stories and ruin people lives on purpose for their personal gain. How do we know that he burried them alive, maybe he thought it was dead, how do we know that they didn't feed the dog, maybe the dog would eat... the media tells the story whatever way that will get the most attention. I could never hit a dog, or any animal with a hammer BUT I also didn't grow up in a generation where that was what you did when you had a dog that was sick. Not that that excuses what he did but it explains part of it.
