IVAW is fast gaining attention they don't want. At this point I'm waiting on assistance from a couple researchers I know that know how to access indisputable information on funding and contributions. It's a skill I need to improve on. In the mean time do a search using key words IVAW and Soros, there's plenty of mention of Tides Foundation funding IVAW.

agree with the intent of doing it EOD - far too reminiscent of Jane Fonda's mindset IMO

;p - great.. the other day when i saw Ed Shultz jumping on the Paul bandwagon I said on another forum that once Paul looses the primary, I prefer him to run 3rd party, build on Shultz with adding Maddow - and take the 'THE ONE' votes away from Obama too. No votes lost to the Rs (I'm not one) because the Paul folks will withhold their vote w/o Paul. It's the most productive thing he can do IMO .

yeah, learned yesterday the total of the contributions to Paul's campaign by military personel is only$36,000 but is more than others. Also now looking into how much of that came from members of IVAW - Iraq Veterens Against War, who it's beginning to come into light is Soros funded... surprise, surprise, surprise

Obama/Reid/Pelosi = the progressive's 'checkmate' team.
Their checkmate attempt must 1st be blocked (2010 election) and then dismatled (2012 election). Ried MUST lose his Senate Leader seat and Pelosi MUST lose more seats in her minion, hopefully expediting her 'retirement'. If done, that's enough to neuter Obama - and even if he does win he'll be miserable - a pouting spoiled brat who can't get his way interrupted by the brat stomp of rage now and then.
Although it's not optimum, there could be some value to that.

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them. It is not to inaugurate new programs, but to cancel old ones that do violence to the Constitution, or that have failed their purpose, or that impose on the people an unwarranted financial burden. I will not attempt to discover whether legislation is "needed" before I have first determined whether it is constitutionally permissible. And if I should later be attacked for neglecting my constituents' "interests," I shall reply that I was informed that their main interest is liberty and that in that cause I am doing the very best I can.
