Cliff Kirkpatrick : Cliff: No TV for UCLA game

So now the university is missing out on money from the tickets not sold for the game AND the TV money...I wouldn't think that sits well with anyone who has stepped up and increased their donations after DeCarolis asked alumni to support the program financially.

Wait....so the Athletic Department would rather lose thousands of dollars in money, TV exposure to future recruits, and the ability for fans outside of the Corvallis area to watch the game.....just so families who have kids can go trick or treating? This might be the craziest reasoning I have ever heard. For a department who says they are lacking for money and need more exposure as they try and rise to the elite half of the Pac-10....this makes no sense.
