There are many places in the world, as is also evident from the PEW Chart in the article, where Shias and Sunnis live in peace with each other. For example in the Middle East. The sectarianism is concentrated mainly in the Sub-Continent. I would have liked to see India also listed in the chart since it has a sizable Muslim population.

Pakistan needs to control religion like it is controlled in the Middle East. Every one will be happier and safer.

...and who put him into power? Western involvement in the destruction of Pakistan is very clear. A lot of people don't agree with this view. Take a step back and look a the bigger picture.

Please do not blame it on religion. Its the sub-continent culture. The Arab Americans do not have these issues in their communities and majority are Muslims.

Please learn to differentiate between Islam and South Asian culture. 'Ghairat' has nothing to do with Islam. Why doesn't the Arab Muslim community in America have the 'ghairat' problem? Because it has NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM!!!

This is very much limited to the Sub-continent and not only to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Do a search online in Indian and Bangali newspapers and you will find enough sorties of 'honor with intensity'.

Such scams are not unique to Pakistan. Its just that Pakistan is under the microscope right now and any negative news is blown out of proportion. I hope this issue is sorted out in time and it does not affect Pakistan's attendance in the Olympics.

Great!!! It took me almost a year to get the current CNICs for my family overseas. I will have to go through the hassle again?
