Hi Bob, John's in an area without much Internet Access for a couple days - so I thought I'd share with you what I learned a couple months ago on the Sheraton. When ULC brought Phillip L. Schulman in from D.C. last October to discuss the changes to the GFE (among other changes), we booked the Sheraton for the event. That's when I found out they would be closing at the end of this year. According to the event planners I spoke with, that property is being converted to an assisted living community. I don't have any confirmations from anyone on this except for the fact that they've fenced it off and the employees were pretty certain that it was going to happen. It's sad to see it go, if this is true. We were stunned when they told us. Hope this helps. ~P
