Big Government : The Continuing Deflation of Little Green Footballs

Great post! I was an early LGF member, didn't really post much but was there for the rise and fall of that blog. One of my few posts took exception to Johnson's take on something (can't even recall what, it was a few years ago) and I was banned within minutes. Maybe it was a wisecrack at worst — but I was not profane or disrespectful, just had a different opinion. There may be something to his obsession with 'Nazis', I don't know. But it sure is an interesting case study in how to create, then destroy an online 'community'.

Breitbart.com : Obama sees \'tougher times\' for African-Americans

Thank you. That was the first thing I thought after reading this "report". Face it — objective journalism in America no longer exists. The "mainstream" media is nothing more than shills for the left, some to much greater degree than others. On another note, while I hate to see daily newspapers go out of business, I can't say they were fair in their reporting or their fate was undeserved. Most if not all of these rags confused Page One with the OpEd page. And they are going the way of Air America. Who could have seen that coming? ;-)

Will somebody somewhere have the boils to out the birth certificate? This is the biggest heist in the history of our nation bar none. Now, with a liberal majority calling the shots and their mindless media sheep firmly in tow, the left are off to the races. Any moderate who voted for Obama having 'buyer's remorse' yet? No worries, though. This march toward socialism will be blunted in the 2010 mid-terms, and these days we're living through now will be a footnote in history — as American individualism will regain it's rightful place in determining the direction of our great republic.
