Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : America's Wish List Pt. I

Yes I agree, if we expect somebody worth a darn to want to get in there, we would have to pay them something. I don't have a problem with them getting paid and having SOME benefits But we definately need term limits for sure: President - 4 years max, everyone else 2 years max. I also think any bill being considered should be posted for viewing for a full week prior to voting and WE should have a chance to vote on it via our representatives websites.

So that explains all those dropped calls on Glenn's radio show. I just thought Dan was sleeping on the job :)

Yes he seems to really care about the company and the employees. I work for AIG and he frequently sends out emails company wide encouraging us to keep our heads up and thanking us for our work.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : AIG Still Doesn't Get It

AIG Retirement Services handles retirements for 100s of companies so it wouldn't suprise me at all to find out that was true, but I can't say that with any certainty.

Ok, first let me say, I work for AIG Retirement Services. That being said, I totally disagree with all of these bailouts for any of these companies. But let me point this out; part of the original deal for receiving funds was that A) the government took over 79.9% of the preferred stock in AIG and B) the government also HAND PICKED Edward Liddy as the new CEO.
