It's great to hear from another 21 year old making it on his own without gov't dependence. My story from this past year has some parallel's. When the economy bottomed out, the business I had started right out of high school went from about 12,000 in monthly sales to just over 1,000 in a matter of two months. It was a swimming pool service company I started for some extra college cash. I do however understand why I was the first luxury to be dropped. I should have saved more money but instead the extra money went towards trying to buy out a larger competitor. I was essentially left with no income and a good amount of people wanting there money. I quickly went out and was able to find a job paying about 450 a week roasting coffee. It was not easy, to deal with the drop in income, but I was able to cover my expenses with a few dollars for a burrito every once in a while. I am just now able to afford tv and internet again which is critical to our generation of course. I moved into an ultra cheap apartment in the city instead of the burbs and am doing pretty well now. Liberals told me how much of a victim I was and conservatives told me the same thing. I'm not a victim and don't need the government handing me welfare or foodstamps or any of the other goodies I'm sure I could qualify for. Everyone needs refinement. Stories like mine happen all the time; the strong rise up and realize what it takes to make the best out of a crappy situation. The rest become addicted to the handouts and never regain what they used to seek. All the best.

I guess I forgot to mention that I keep a shotgun in my truck, maybe they expect that; being it's a Texas plate, and I'm so obviously anti american because I didn't vote for *bama.
