Not even going to TRY and guess where this is...this is a stock photo taken by Inga Nielsen and uploaded on 01-23-2010. She is from Germany. I have NO idea what Mary is trying to say with this clue. Let me know if you have thoughts. Go to www.istockphoto.com and search keyword "lotion in sand".

visit Meleleuca.com. They have INCREDIBLE cleaning products that really work and are antibacterial, all natural and plant based and actually sanitize as well as bleach and are good on most surfaces. Hope this helps!!

You can ruin oil and spices by putting them that close to the stove. I would suggest if you are short on counter space, consider keeping your spices in a wall mounted cabinet. I purchased a (yes I know sounds odd) bath cabinet (you know the little kind you mount on the wall above the toilet) and put it in the kitchen on my empty wall space and I keep my spices there. It gets them out of the light (bad for them too) and away from the heat of the stove but easily accessed. I keep my oil in decorative bottles on top of the cabinet. It is an inexpensive solution that saves your counter space and your spices and oil. Hope this helps!!

I live in Hawaii and the red clay stains are the worst here!! Try a simple spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide and a decently stiff bristled brush. If that doesn't work try a mix of baking soda and peroxide. That should do the trick. Once you have the red clay stains out I would consider sealing the grout with a matte clear sealant (can be purchased at most local home repair stores) to avoid future staining on light colored grout. Hope this helps!!

I am thinking one of the Top Ten New Home Communities of the Bay Area.

By the way...the Point Loma lighthouse doesn't use a Fresnel Lense. Plus Florida was never listed in the first clue which leads me to believe we should rule that out immediately. I am leaning more toward the San Francisco area. The Point Bonita, Mile Rocks and Alcatraz lighthouses all use(or used when in commission) a Fresnel lense. Since she was specific on the type of lighthouse lense I am carefully using that clue to guide the research. There are the Bonita Springs communities, and don't forget Treasure Island just off The Inlet Coast of San Fran near Alcatraz.

Just waiting for the next clue to see if Mary has really directed us to the right locations or if this is all to throw us WAY off!
I can't wait to see what she comes up with next...

All four of those locations have some history of buried treasure, lighthouses with the right kind of lense, horse racing, cruises and beaches. However, when you start plugging in the words listed on the Scrabble board...you narrow it a little further. The words: alligator, cactus, tulips, taffy, washboards, beer, diver, root, and hangings (noose) can all be traced to Houston and San Fransisco. They also have beaches...Cali beaches being MUCH prettier than Houston/Galveston beaches...but they do both have beaches just the same.

OK. Here is what I have come up with after a LOT of research...( 1.) The first clue (the poll) includes L.A, San Fran, Philly, Houston, Pheonix & D.C. ( 2.) There are no lighthouses in Phoenix or D.C. using the Fresnel Lense. This narrows it to Houston, Philly, San Fran and L.A.
