Through this thread, I think that what's becoming clearer to me is that the question "How do we use web technology to make disciples?" is a good question; the better question is, "What do we observe historically--in meatspace (offline)--about how are disciples made? How do we enable that online?" The answers to the "good" question seem to be centered around tools; the answers to the "better" question are more about behaviors. The Fast Company article is convincing me that understanding the behaviors is the better insight. One of our favorite micro dates is loading all the kiddos into strollers and taking a walk around the neighborhood when I get home from work. The kids are occupied (or at least immobilized in the stroller) and we actually get to talk. It's money.
