Now, if the road has a pot hole the size of texas, it is the road repair which is a whole different issue. I am talking about weather.

Now again, shite happens, like objects in the road that fall off other cars, pedestrians, other inattentive drivers... but what point i am trying to make is if you have an accident because its snowing out... its DRIVER ERROR!!!!! period.

Im was not talking about anything except wether related accidents... read my posts all the way through and you will get the WHOLE POINT. :)

Wow, didn't read, just replied. Ok, so the incident on 35, more details? I dont remember hearing anything about it. Also, just because your not speeding, doesnt mean you are not changing the radio station, eating, jamming to your favorite song, or whatever else one does in a car. I also understand shite happens, however... cars dont lunge into another lane, or swerve uncontrolably into the median without a CAUSE!!!!!!!!! which means the DRIVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! if its mechanical... like the brakes fail, or your wheel passes you on an exit ramp, fine, not the driver.

EVERY SINGLE OTHER CASE, and yes ALL of them, are driver error. Period. You lost control? driving too fast for road, conditions, traffic, your vehicle is in bad repair etc. even if ur NOT SPEEDING (going over the posted limit)... if you cant control your car, you are by law SPEEDING (going too fast for conditions) and you are at fault.

A Redneck:
"The United Mine Workers of America (UMW) and rival miners' unions appropriated both the term redneck and its literal manifestation, the red bandana, in order to build multiracial unions of white, black, and immigrant miners in the strike-ridden coalfields of northern and central Appalachia between 1912 and 1936. The origin of redneck to mean "a union man" or "a striker" remains uncertain, but according to linguist David W. Maurer, the former definition of the word probably dates at least to the 1910s, if not earlier. The use of redneck to designate "a union member" was especially popular during the 1920s and 1930s in the coal-producing regions of southern West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and western Pennsylvania, where the word came to be specifically applied to a miner who belonged to a union."

Also, according to statistics, most DWI's are office employees unwinding with a few drinks, then going home.

Dont generalize, it make you look stupid.

Wow, such a ignorant person... not you cyuy, but assh1234... first, DWI isnt plural, second how do you know he lives in a trailer park, maybe he lives in a truck, maybe he lives in an apartment or his moms basement, you dont know him, dont generalize. I assume you were referring to a redneck living in a trailer park, and all rednecks being drunks?

When was the last time you saw a parked car slide through a red light because it was slick out? It must not be the WEATHER"S fault then huh?

Its all part of the risk you take when you drive in these conditions.

On that note, I am going to sign out and be ridiculed because somone doesnt like the facts, and has to argue with eveyone about everything because they are right.

Thanks,
Aaron

According to MN state law, you can only drive as fast as conditions allow, which means 55 is 55 on a dry warm July day, not a snowy night in early December. According to this, any "accident" that is because it is slick out is the DRIVER'S FAULT!!!!! He or she was driving too fast. Even if you are going 30 down the interstate, if you spin out, you are speeding, it is YOUR fault. Cut and dry.

If you hit a car that is in the process of spinning out, if they cross into your lane from another, not your fault, its the driver of that vehicle, however, if it spins out, and was driving infront of you prior to spin out, and you hit that vehicle, it then becomes both of you at fault, because you didnt allow proper stopping distance for the conditions.

Now, the truth lies in the middle of both of you.

Weather CAN play a role in a crash, but it does not CAUSE a crash. (an accident is unavoidable like mechanical failure, or medical conditions causing an ACCIDENT) It is the DRIVER that causes a crash. No, i am not saying i am a better driver than everyone else however, I drove in that ice storm last Novemeber just fine. Yes, I did get in a CRASH, I was rearended by a driver who happened to be intoxicated.

Now, I have seen more accidents than either of you two can shake a stick at, and all of them (that were weather related) were because the DRIVER was at fault.
