Spaying or neutering is ALWAYS a good idea. Unless you have a show dog, there is absolutely no reason not to. Your pet will be less aggressive, less likely to escape to find the dog in heat and less likely to have puppies that you can't find homes for. There are dogs in shelters needing a home. The only thing I disagree with is I have a mutt with a pit physique, she's also part French Bulldog, so cute as a button, and very docile.

The general point is that 16 dogs were horrible, so the entire breed should suffer? How many pitbulls are there? 100,000 maybe, maybe more? And yet, some idiots want them all banned.

Create fear, sell a product. The product created by a subsidiary of former Homeland Security Chief, Chertoff's company. Would bomb sniffing dogs do the same thing? Wouldn't they catch any sort of explosive? They would certainly cost less and be less invasive.
